UN Day

Last week we celebrated Uniting Nations Day at our school. We came to school in an outfit that represented a culture or country that was important to us. At our Morning Meeting, we talked about what we had chosen to wear and why it was important to us.

After that, we learnt about a Japanese celebration, the Tanabata Festival. William told us what happens at a Tanabata Festival and how we could write wishes to add to our Christmas tree.

We LOVED visiting the Food Festival, and trying at least one new food.

We hope you enjoyed our UN Day performance! We loved being on stage and performing for you all.
